Dr. Claire Kehoe

Dr. Claire Kehoe, BSc Hons, DIS, DPhil, Member Services Manager

Claire studied in the University of Ulster at Coleraine where she received an honours degree in Human Nutrition. As part of her studies, Claire spent a year at the Dunn Clinical Nutrition Centre, where she carried out research in the areas of nutritional epidemiology and the assessment of dietary eating habits.

Claire continued her studies and gained her DPhil at the University of Ulster in conjunction with the Howard Foundation, Cambridge. As part of the Research Staff at the Northern Ireland Centre for Diet and Health, Claire carried out studies into assessing copper status in humans and has several published papers in this area. Claire is a member of the British Nutrition Society.

Catherine Matthews

Catherine Matthews, BSc Hons, Senior Nutritionist

Catherine gained a first class honours degree in Nutritional Science at University College Cork, Ireland. As part of her research project she studied the potential role of antioxidants in cancer prevention.

Catherine began her nutrition career working as a scientific information specialist for a well known healthcare company, helping educate people about science and nutrition. As an experienced nutritionist with a keen interest in fitness Catherine will be able to answer any nutrition and weight loss-related queries. Catherine is a member of the British Nutrition Society.

Laura McLoughlin

Laura McLoughlin, BSc Hons, MSc, Nutritionist

Laura graduated with a BSc Hons in Biological Sciences at University College Dublin before completing her MSc in Human Nutrition at University of Ulster, Coleraine. As part of her studies, Laura carried out research in the area of B-vitamin status and genetic predisposition as risk factors for heart disease. Laura is a member of the British Nutrition Society.
